Guggenheim Securities monitored the Emergency Room wait times of roughly 350 U.S. hospitals from late March to late May in an effort to evaluate the level of stress on the hospital system. Tracking the ER wait times hospitals posted on their websites provided an early read on the progression of the COVID-19 pandemic and confirmed trends seen in official data.  Read more about the project and our findings here.
